A pedestrian has died after being hit by a bus in the Brisbane CBD this morning.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Wharf and Ann Street following a “serious bus and pedestrian incident”.

Paramedics worked on the pedestrian for some time but were unable to save her.

Police are still yet to identify the woman but say she was hit while crossing the road.
