‘People will die’: Frustrations grow over response to Brisbane’s youth crime
Voice for Victims advocate Ben Cannon, who famously came to the aid of Wallabies great Toutai Kefu during a violent home invasion last year, is calling for urgent action to end youth crime in Brisbane.
This comes as the Voice for Victims group gets set to march on Queensland Parliament, as frustrations grow over the lack of action in response to the growing youth crime in the state.
“These kids are faceless, and we as the victims, become the public face of the incident that we had no choice or wanted,” Cannon told Ray.
“We carry all of that weight on behalf of poor decisions from our government and legislators.”
