PM’s health-kick quip to Anthony Albanese labelled ‘pretty crooked’
Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s apparent sledge towards Anthony Albanese over his weight loss has been called “pretty crooked” by the ALP.
In in an interview on Sky News last night, Mr Morrison made a quip apparently referencing the Opposition Leader’s weight loss and transformation.
“We’re still wearing the same glasses. Sadly, the same suits. I weigh about the same size and I don’t mind a bit of Italian cake either,” he said.
“I’m happy in my own skin and I’m not pretending to be anyone else.”
Federal Labor MP Milton Dick says Anthony Albanese is getting “match-fit for the election” losing 20 kilograms, showing how disciplined he is.
“This is a guy that is really hungry to become the the Australian prime minister of Australia,” the Oxley MP told Scott Emerson.
“I think last night him making fun of Anthony Albanese because of the way he looks, is pretty crooked and I don’t think most Australians will buy it.”
