30th anniversary of iconic 1995 Queensland State of Origin victory: Craig Teevan

This year marks 30 years since the iconic 1995 Queensland State of Origin victory, where first-time coach Paul Vautin led the team to a clean sweep.

Player in the 1995 Queensland team Craig Teevan told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports, “A bunch of nobodies getting together, and, we’re supposed to lose the series, you know, three nil.”

“We almost gelled from day one or from minute one, actually, and, Fatty and Choppy, and that got the boys together and, to go and win against all odds.”

“It was a great occasion,” Teevan continued.
