Peter Fegan

From Old Man Emu to True Blue and Beyond, John Williamson has been sharing the stories of Australia for 55 years.

Williamson is marking the milestone with a national farewell tour and a brand new album, How Many Songs.

John Williamson told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “I just figure I’m the luckiest person in the world to live in this country, for a start, and to have the talent to write songs and actually sing them.”

“The bush is the thing that sustains me most of all, I’m absolutely besotted with the Australian bush,” Mr. Williamson said.
