Last November a truckie claims to have had a close encounter with the mythical Yowie in the Gold Coast Hinterland, near the Kokoda Army barracks.

The truckie claims a massive humanoid hit his truck with its palm before disappearing.

While many people may be skeptical professional Yowie hunter Dean Harrison has been searching the area for signs of the beast and tells Mark the truckie’s description of the encounter is very convincing.
