A plan to make Brisbane a ‘45 minute city’
The Southeast Queensland Council of Mayors has released an infrastructure wishlist aimed at busting congestion and coping with population growth.
The SEQ Mass Movement Study identifies 47 projects worth about $60-billion that would need to be completed by 2041.
The aim is to make the average commute to work in Brisbane no more than 45 minutes.
The executive director of the RACQ Paul Turner tells Mark the trick will be convincing the state and federal governments to put their hands into their pockets.
