Aged care: more needs to be done
The Federal Government says it will adopt all of the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aged Care.
Aged Care Minister Richard Colbeck says the government will “go beyond” the recommendations, pouring an extra $132 million into the sector.
But aged care providers are saying the government needs to do more, and spend more for the sector after hearing of the “tragic, irreparable and lasting effects” of the pandemic.
