Aussie teen wins prestigious online gaming tournament

While real life sporting codes are finally starting up again due to COVID-19 breaks, a Year 10 student from Marsden State High School in Queensland has won the first ever FIFA FUSE (Federation of United Schools Esports) Cup.

Jeremy Wood had to battle through an international field of players from Australia, New Zealand, Italy and Canada to make the tournament final where he faced off against his fellow schoolmate, Maxwell Yoshida.  While the two are friends, Jeremy showed little mercy and won the match 6-0 to be announced the first winner of the tournament.

He joined John Stanley to discuss everything about the tournament, and where he feels his future lies in the world of E sports.
