Australian farmers are welcoming an international decision, which would ensure farmers are not disadvantaged by ambitious environmental policies.

The European Union’s Vision for Agriculture and Food focuses on simplifying regulations, to ensure farming remains competitive.

Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke with Victorian Farmers Federation President Brett Hosking, who is hopeful the move will lay the blueprint for local government and policy makers.
