Bill McDonald has questioned the decision by Queensland Health Minister Shannon Fentiman to not have an broader independent review into how the police handled prior complaints related to the pedophile Ashley Paul Griffith.

In Parliament today, Opposition Leader David Crisafulli has committed, if elected, to a full independent inquiry into the child protection system failures that enabled Ashley Paul Griffith to abuse children at Brisbane daycare centres for over two decades.
