Cooking with Sarah Boorer

Luke Grant is joined by Sarah Boorer, Communications professional & CWA award-winning cook, to look at the world of baked goods, delicious treats and & easy recipes.

This week Sarah cooks up Caramilk Brownies.

Ingredients 

100g Butter

150g Caramilk Chocolate (plus 100g extra)

3 Large Eggs

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1/4 Cup Caster Sugar

1 Cup and 2 Tbsp Plain Flour

1/2 tsp Baking Soda

Instructions 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line an 8″x8″ pan with baking paper.
  2. Melt the butter and Caramilk chocolate together.
  3. Beat the eggs, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla extract together until light.
  4. Mix in the chocolate mixture.
  5. Mix in the flour and baking soda and add the pieces of Caramilk chocolate.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes. The middle should still lightly wobble while the top and outsides are set and lightly golden brown.
