Cutting The Skin Cancer Queue
On average 2 in 3 Australians will be diagnosed with a skin cancer by the time they’re 70.
For those in the queue waiting to have a cancer removed there’s good news with the opening of Australia’s first specialist skin cancer clinic at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Dr Michael Wagels tells Ben the new clinic will offer same day service for non-melanoma cancers and will cut surgery wait times in half.
