Do diet bars & shakes really work?

Mike is joined by Joel Feren the Nutrition Guy, Media dietitian, nutrition writer and speaker, to explore the true value of diet bars and shakes.

For those aiming to lose weight or increase protein intake, it seems relying on health bars, diet shakes, and sports foods might lead to unintended calorie consumption.

A recent Deakin University study examined 558 sports food products in Australian outlets, revealing that one-third provided inaccurate nutrition information.

The study found that over half of the products with misinformation understated their calorie content.
