Does Australia have a burnout culture?

Bill Woods

A recent report found that a whopping 62% of Australian workers report feeling burnout, compared to a global average of only 48%.

Furthermore, the Australian Human Rights Commission estimates that $10 billion is spent each year on stress and anxiety related work compensation pay outs.

As October is Mental Health Awareness month, Bill Woods speaks with Michael Bunting, Leadership and workplace well-being expert / co-author of ‘Vertical Growrth’, about the topic of burnout and what organisations can do to avoid it or the remedy the situation.

Mr Bunting believes that less than 1% of the population is truly self-aware and would like to share his top insights for how people can grow vertically to cultivate more self-awareness in their lives.
