Eating your way to a healthy heart
For years people worried about their heart health have been warned off eggs and virtually all dairy, but now they’ve been declared OK to eat.
The Heart Foundation has conducted a scientific review of its dietary guidelines and has declared it is removing its restrictions on full-fat milk, cheese and yogurt, while the limit on eggs is lifted.
Heart Foundation chief medical advisor Professor Garry Jennings tells Mark there was no real evidence those foods were either good or bad for your heart.
