Electric scooter sharing rolls into Brisbane
A US ride sharing startup Lime is planning to introduce hundreds of electric scooters to the streets and footpaths of Brisbane.
Riders use an app to find and unlock a scooter and are charged $1 to access it then 30c a minute to use it.
Once the ride is over the rider simply leaves it parked on the footpath.
Australia and NZ government affairs and strategy director Mitchell Price tells Mark the company is working with local authorities to get the service up and rolling.
