Evidence Queensland shark numbers in decline

Following a recent spate of shark attacks in the Whitsundays there have been calls for a cull and claims that numbers are out of control.

An analyses of Queensland Shark Control Program data all the way back to the start in 1962 tells a different story.

Dr George Roff from the University of Queensland School of Biological Sciences tells Mark numbers are in serious decline and not only that sharks are getting smaller.
