A war or words is brewing between Peter Dutton and the state education department as the Opposition Leader has pledged to take political agendas out of schools and take it back to basics.

Federal Education Minister Jason Clare told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “I want them focused on the fundamentals, but I don’t want this fake fight about indoctrination.”

“Peter Dutton here is trying to sort of float all these ideas about a conspiracy in our classroom about indoctrination, all this stuff coming from the United States.”

“I want to make sure that they’re focused on the fundamentals here, seems like he’s not,” Mr. Clare said.
