Gardening is back with Paul Plant in the first hour. Paul answers your questions and shares his plant of the week –  Pink Nodding Orchid (Geodorum densiflorum – now named Eulophia picta).

In the second hour, we hear from Steve Barker who gives us an update on the Sydney-Hobart Yacht Race. Now in its 79th year and has been described as “one of the toughest, most respected ocean races” on the global sailing calendar.

We also hear from Sharyn Bartlam, who is part of the team at Save The Koalas and Wallabies of Whites Hill. Sharyn discusses a surge in Koala deaths this year, and what people can do to support their local Koalas.
