Gary Hardgrave’s extraordinary comments about this election as he accuses Labor of ‘inter-generational theft’
Gary Hardgrave has accused the federal government of inter-generational theft regarding their plans for an “unrealised capital gains tax”, claiming it would hurt farmers, small business and self-managed superannuations.
He says under the new tax, the federal government would tax assets before they were sold.
“[They’re] taking away from you money you would hope one day could help set up your own kids and grandkids, they wanna take that money away from you!” he said.
He also revealed he feels the upcoming election will prove to be important for the future.
“I think this election will truly determine our fate as a nation and the bill we’ll leave to future generations … I hear it every election season, but this election really is standing out,” he added.
