Government’s stricter vape crackdown focused on ‘protecting young people’

Vaping is an epidemic in Australian schools and it has become the number one behavioural issue for many students.

Data shows one in six high school students have vaped recently.

This has encouraged the federal government to crack down on the addiction.

Federal Health Minister Mark Butler told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “A 12-year-old who vapes, is 29 times more likely to take up ciggies.”
