Great cause helping to prevent domestic violence aginst women returns with ambitious goal

Bill McDonald

The Epic Walk for DV is back this year and has expanded to the Whitsundays and the Gold Coast as the organisers hope to raise funds for the Women’s Legal Service Queensland.

Co-creator Brendan Mann says they also hope more hosts can get involved to keep awareness going.

“Obviously, domestic violence has really become in the forefront, and there’s a lot of help needed out there to help tackle the issue of domestic violence,” he told Bill McDonald.

“This walk is going towards tangible things to help Women’s Legal Service Queensland,” he added.
