Horticulture workforce recruitment improves on Covid figures

New figures show Labour shortages brought on by the pandemic are beginning to ease in the horticulture sector.

A report from the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences shows in 2022-23, 34 percent of growers had trouble recruiting workers.

That’s down from 57 percent the year prior.
