It’s that time of year when echidnas, and other native animals, are becoming more active and can be found exploring our urban backyards.

Bill Woods speak with Ranger Mick, Australian Reptile Park and Wildlife Sanctuary ranger, about how to live alongside Australia’s bountiful wildlife in harmony, considering some are not so welcome.

Even Sydney’s highly developed areas have native mammals. Possums and bats visit urban areas, and people living on the edges of the city or in our mountains may get visits from wallabies, koalas and echidnas.
