“It’s a sad day”: Iconic Queensland partnership comes to an end

After 35 years, the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation has ended its partnership with the Ekka Strawberry Sundaes.

Communications Manager of the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, Chloe Nguyen told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, “It’s a sad day.”

“I think what’s really important to know is that the Strawberry Sundaes, like you said, they’re not going anywhere, so rest assured you’ll still be able to get a delicious ice cream each year.”

“As we approach our 40-year anniversary next year, we’re going to be focusing our efforts on more sustainable programs where we can have the biggest impact for the community,” Ms Nguyen said.
