Jamie Soward reacts to Wests Tigers ‘drama-filled’ decision to drop Lachlan Galvin

The Wests Tigers announced that Lachlan Galvin would not be with the club beyond 2026.

Today, the club dropped Lachlan Galvin from their NRL squad, with the teen set to play in the NSW Cup.

The decision to drop Galvin has been led by senior players, Jarome Luai and Api Koroisau.

Member of the Continuous Call Team, Jamie Soward, told Jason Matthews on Wide World of Sports, “I think that Benji [Marshall] would have to make a decision based on what their team needs best.”

“A young man has made a decision so far out to say that he doesn’t want to play or doesn’t see a future at the club, with these players and with the coach. I had no doubt that it was going to end in tears,” Soward continued.
