‘Just drove straight off’: Guide dog users denied service by rideshare drivers

Bill McDonald

A Victorian woman has lodged a complaint to the Australian Human Rights Commission alleging discriminatory treatment by rideshare drivers, after being refused service for having a guide dog.

Chris Littlewood lives with vision loss and uses a guide dog and he joined 4BC Mornings to discuss his similar experience.

Mr Littlewood told Bill McDonald, “As soon as he saw us, he just drove straight off and cancelled the job.”
