‘Just reach out’: Gus Worland releases picture book for mental health awarness

Well-known media personality and founder of Gotcha4Life, Gus Worland, has released a picture book to normalise mental health awareness in young people.

Gus Worland told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, “We need to somehow get the emotional muscle to speak up about the stuff that we worry alone about.”

“We really need to start talking to the little ones so that’s why the book ‘Boys Do Cry’ is something I’m so passionate about because hopefully the people reading it to the kids will learn something and also the kids will realise it’s okay to be human, it’s okay to have all the feels and not bottle them all up,” Worland continued.
