A man wanted by police over the murder of Meaghan Rose has been arrested in Sydney’s north-west.

The body of 25-year-old Meaghan Louise Rose was found at the bottom of a cliff on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, in 1997.

Keith Lees, 72, was taken into police custody yesterday morning at a Kenthurst Road property in Dural over an outstanding warrant issued in July 2023 and is expected to be extradited to Queensland.
