MND advocate Neale Daniher named Australian of the Year
Neale Daniher was named Australian of the Year for his tireless efforts to raise awareness and funds for motor neurone disease.
After his diagnosis, Neale started FightMND and has raised $115 million for the cause.
Neale’s daughter, Bec Daniher told Bill McDonlad on 4BC Mornings, “It was a complete shock, but I’m so proud of everything that he’s done, and this is just such a great honour.”
“It gives us a platform to continue to do the hard work that we need to and just keep talking about MND and the funds that we need to continue to raise,” Ms Daniher continued.
