Los Angeles is set to host the FIFA World Cup in 2026 and the Olympic Games in 2028.

But how does the city recover from the catastrophic fires in time for these massive events?

Jason Matthews said on Summer Wide World of Sports, “It’s time to make a decision now to move at least the FIFA World Cup next year, purely through lack of resources and lack of safety.”

“Don’t waste money on these massive events when your residents have lost everything,” he continued.
