‘Not the worst’ home buyers scheme
First home buyers are to get a leg up no matter whether Labor or the Coalition wins this Saturday’s Federal Election.
At the weekend Scott Morrison promised a scheme that would allow first home buyers to borrow with just a 5 percent deposit, a scheme that was almost immediately matched by Bill Shorten.
Trent Wiltshire, Chief economist with the real estate website Domain, tells Mark that it’s not the worst first home buyers scheme that he’s seen.
