Older Aussies are struggling to spot scams

Phil O'Neil

Phil speaks with James Roberts, General Manager of Group Fraud Management Services at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, on older Australians’ vulnerability to scams.

Australians are urged to ‘Talk to a Loved One’—sharing scam awareness across generations. While scam losses have dropped 70% in two years, ongoing education is key. Always stop, check, and reject suspicious requests.
