One Nation demands Australia leave the WHO
Mike is joined by Senator Pauline Hanson, leader of One Nation, who urges Australia to withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO), following the U.S. decision under President Trump. She argues One Nation has called for an exit since 1996, citing the WHO’s proposed pandemic treaty as a threat to national sovereignty.
She insists Australia should control its own health policies and not be governed by unelected international bodies and supports an independent path in trade and diplomacy, free from external interference.
The Senator also calls for a review of Australia’s memberships in global organisations like the WHO and the UN, claiming they have lost their way and no longer serve the nation’s interests.
Hanson praised Trump’s leadership and reaffirmed One Nation’s commitment to prioritising Australia.
