Pauline Hanson on Immigration: Deportations, Visa Cuts & Tougher Borders

Mike Jeffreys

Mike speaks with One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson about the party’s immigration policy, which aims to deport 75,000 illegal immigrants immediately and cut immigration by 570,000 from Labor’s current levels.

Senator Hanson argues record immigration is worsening the housing crisis, inflation, and public services.

The policy includes capping visas at 130,000 per year, enforcing an eight-year wait for citizenship and welfare, reducing foreign student numbers, reinstating temporary protection visas, and restricting entry from nations fostering extremist ideologies.

One Nation also plans to withdraw Australia from the UN Refugee Convention, prioritising Australian interests first.
