Point to point speed cameras flagged for NSW

Clinton speaks with Trent Nikolic from Drive.com about the potential use of average speed cameras to monitor cars and light vehicles, aiming to reduce the state’s road toll.

Premier Chris Minns announced at the recent Bush Summit that his government is considering this move after a “dramatic increase” in road fatalities over the past year.

Currently, these cameras are only used to enforce speed limits for heavy vehicles, by calculating the time taken between two points to determine the vehicle’s average speed
