Nathan McSweeney has been dropped from the Boxing Day Test squad against India.

He has been replaced by 19-year-old rising star, Sam Konstas.

Head of Elite at the Brisbane Heat Joe Dawes told Jason Matthews on Summer Wide World of Sports, “I think this is pretty harsh call to be honest and I would rather see him continuing to grow.”

“He got thrown in the deep end against probably the best bowler in the world at the moment,” Mr Dawes continued.
