Queenslanders to have a say on assisted dying
Queensland is on the way to following Victoria with the possible introduction of Assisted Dying laws.
A parliamentary committee has released an issues paper for public comment as part of an inquiry that will report back to state parliament in November.
The Clem Jones Trust is one organisation campaigning for the change and chairman David Muir tells Mark patients, families and doctors are currently forced to skirt the law if they want to allow a loved one to die with dignity.
