Relocating Coomera koalas proves a fatal move
Koala populations across southeast Queensland are under increasing pressure as urban development pushes into their habitat.
The development of the Coomera Town Centre saw the relocation of 260 koalas between 2008 and 2014 and it has now been revealed half didn’t survive.
Sue Arnold from Australians for Animals has been following the program and tells Mark her group is talking to lawyers about taking action against the state government.
