Revealed: The shocking number of Queenslanders who failed to vote
The Electoral Commission of Queensland is pushing for Queenslanders to vote after they wrote to 350,000 who failed to turn up at the last state election.
Commissioner Pat Vidgen says he would have liked the number to have been lower but welcomes those who didn’t vote to contact the commission and explain why.
“The important thing at this point is that people still have a chance to contact us and talk to us,” he said.
