Revolutionary new way to treat stroke patients in the regions

It’s hoped a phone app may be able to help save the lives of stroke patients in the regions.

The Zeus app, run by the Australian Stroke Alliance, allows paramedics to transmit crucial data from the patient to neurologists while in transit to hospital.

Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke with the Alliance’s Professor Stephen Davis about what the technology means for regional communities.
