Rocket debris rains down: What happens when space junk crashes back to Earth?
Last week, one of Elon Musk’s SpaceX rockets crashed back to Earth, and a large chunk of a Blue Origin rocket’s nose cone washed up on the shore of a Bahamian island.
But what happens when space objects fall back into Earth?

“Some of it does burn into the Earth’s atmosphere, but for the most part, it does make its way to the Earth,” Mr Tucker continued.
