Sleep researchers deliver shiftwork tips for young workers

Mike Jeffreys

Phil is joined by Dr. Charlotte Gupta, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at CQUniversity’s School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences, to discuss the launch of the Healthy Shiftwork resource hub.

Set to go live online on Tuesday, 4 March at 12 PM AEDT, the hub offers shiftworkers, researchers, and health professionals valuable insights into sleep, nutrition, and physical activity.

CQUniversity sleep researchers aim to support young shiftworkers in maintaining their health from day one. Their research-based guidance benefits not only newcomers but also the two million shiftworkers in Australia and hundreds of millions worldwide who struggle with irregular sleep patterns.

Developed by CQUniversity’s Appleton Institute, a leader in health and wellbeing research, the Healthy Shiftwork project delivers tailored, engaging resources to help shiftworkers thrive.
