‘The ball just kept flying everywhere’: Max Bryant on his match-winning knock

The Brisbane Heat snapped their something game losing streak with a win over the injury-hit Thunder at the Gabba last night.

Brisbane Heat batter Max Bryant, who hit 72 off 35, told Jason Matthews on 4BC Wide World of Sports, “I hit a couple out the middle and then I just said to Matty [Matthew Renshaw] that I had to keep going and he had the bat through just because we’ve got that short side of the gap there so I think every ball at that end was almost a free hit for myself.”

“The ball just kept flying everywhere and we got a lucky couple of times but no it’s good to get the win.”
