The LNP State Conference at the weekend backed a motion calling on the Federal Government to explore the ‘nuclear option’ to tackle power prices and supply issues.
Delegates supported the resolution over the objections of Federal Resources Minister Matt Canavan.
He argued nuclear is too expensive and waste is a problem.
