‘There are two’: David Littleproud calling for some ‘common sense’ in gender debate
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton is closing the gap as preferred prime minister with the Coalition now leading 51-49 on a two-party-preferred basis.
Most voters believe a Coalition election victory is imminent, either with the Coalition winning the election in its own right or in a minority government which is a huge shift away from what was expected to happen just 6 months ago.
National Party Leader David Littleproud told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “The reality is we’re in the hunt and that’s because I think Australians are giving up on this government.”
On the gender debate, Mr. Littleproud said, “I think some common sense can solve a lot of this without government having to get interfered in everyone’s life.”
“This is where we’ve just got to get back to basics and respect one another.”
