‘There’s a clear choice’: Sussan Ley declares Coalition are ‘underdogs’ for election

It’s only 18 days out from the federal election vote and the campaigning is well and truly heating up.

Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley told Luke Bradnam on 4BC Breakfast, “I’m meeting people, I’m talking to families, I’m talking to young people who have been locked out of the dream of home ownership, really excited to hear Peter Dutton say that he wanted to be a Prime Minister for home ownership.”

“So everywhere I go, it’s a moving beast and it does cover the whole country, but the rewards of meeting our wonderful Australians, those rewards are very high and sure, we’re the underdogs going into this election.”

“It’s going to be tough, but we do have policies that will bring this country to where it needs to be, and it’s an election where there’s a clear choice,” Mrs Ley said.
