‘They can project power against us whenever they want’ – Expert’s dire warning on Chinese military aggression

Luke Grant

Defence Minister Richard Marles says China has not provided a “satisfactory” explanation for the live weapons drills conducted off the Australian coast on Friday, describing the circumstances as “disconcerting”.

Luke Grant chats with Senior Analyst in Defence Strategy and Capability at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, Malcolm Davis, to get his thoughts about the government’s response to the provocations, and what they mean for Australia’s future military and trade relations with Beijing.
