Toll roads inquiry gives little hope of cheaper trips
The Palaszczuk Government is now considering its response to a parliamentary committee report into Brisbane’s toll roads.
The report’s key recommendation is the setting up of a Queensland based ombudsman to deal with complaints but there was no suggestion that anything be done about the actual tolls.
The inquiry came after pressure from the LNP Opposition and Shadow Main Roads Minister Steve Minnikin tells Mark the report is a missed opportunity.
